Dr. Joyce Reder, DNP, RN

Founder & Director, Northern Training and Assessment

Dr. Joyce Reder is the founder and manager of Northern Training and Assessment, a premier vocational healthcare education provider dedicated to critical workforce development.

Dr. Reder brings 33 years of experience as a Registered Nurse to her programs, including seven years of dedicated service in long-term care environments. Her extensive clinical background is paired with a deep passion for adult education. She has taught nursing, CNA, and phlebotomy students at Saginaw Valley State University, Kirtland Community College, Mid-Michigan Community College, and Davenport University. Committed to community growth, she has also trained local adults in ServSafe and Restaurant Ready programs for area non-profits.


Under Dr. Reder’s leadership, Northern Training and Assessment focuses on equipping individuals with the essential skills required for direct patient care through comprehensive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training.
